We're Crazy about Kids
Small Steps Academy is a ministry arm of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. As such, we exist to create an outreach opportunity to share the Gospel message with children and families in our community that may not yet know Jesus as their Savior from sin.
Our mission is "growing and going to God's people with God's Word."
Small Steps Academy is, therefore, established to train children in a caring Christian environment. We work with children to assist them in their spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social-emotional development. We consider ourselves partners with parents in the training of their children.
We can’t say enough good things about Levi’s 1-year-old class! From the very beginning, Nancy, Kim, and Angelica have been such a gift to our family. We were a little hesitant at first about starting him in “school” so young (especially since our daughter started a bit later), but it quickly became clear that this was one of the best decisions we’ve made for him. The growth we’ve seen in his confidence and development has been incredible -- and all in such a positive, encouraging environment! Most importantly, we know he’s loved, cared for, and having so much fun in a clean, safe space every day. We’re so grateful for this sweet season and the amazing team guiding him through it! - Nikki
